drivingDirection From Medford, OR, take OR-62 (Crater Lake Hwy) about 12 miles past Prospect to Farewell Bend Campground. From Klamath Falls, travel north on US 97 to OR-62 (Crater Lake Hwy). Travel west about 15 miles past Crater Lake National Park to Farewell Bend Campground, at the intersection of OR-62 and OR-280.
facilitiesDescription This large campground contains a variety of campsites to accommodate groups, families and individuals. Drinking water and flush toilets are provided, as well as picnic tables and grills. Firewood is available for purchase at the Campground Host Site.

importantInformation Caution: Bears frequent the area. Be aware, keep a clean camp and store all food items in closed containers. Picnic areas are day use, they are $5 and charged by campground. Parking and picnic tables are offered at the area. A per day, per vehicle fee will be collected onsite for extra vehicles. First-come, first-served sites are available. America the Beautiful Pass does not cover fees for hookups. Off-road vehicles are not allowed in the campground. For more information, please call Rogue Recreation at 541-560-3900. This is a premier fishing campground adjacent to the Rogue River. In addition, hikers will enjoy easy access to the Union Creek and Upper Rogue River Trails. Sights to see include Rogue Gorge and Natural Bridge.
recreationDescription Farewell Bend offers outstanding fishing and swimming in the Rogue River and nearby Union Creek, as well as Lost Creek to the south. The Rogue River and Rogue Gorge trail systems connect to both Crater Lake National Park to the north and Lost Creek Lake to the south, and run through Natural Bridge and Rogue Gorge. Crater Lake National Park is just minutes away. Natural Bridge and Rogue Gorge are within easy walking distance and are must see attractions. All hiking venues are in the midst of old growth forest, with views of Mount McLoughlin.
