Caution: Bears frequent the area. Be aware, keep a clean camp and store all food items in closed containers. Picnic areas are day use, they are $5 and charged by campground. Parking and picnic tables are offered at the area. A per day, per vehicle fee will be collected onsite for extra vehicles. First-come, first-served sites are available. America the Beautiful Pass does not cover fees for hookups. Off-road vehicles are not allowed in the campground. For more information, please call Rogue Recreation at 541-560-3900. Farewell Bend offers outstanding fishing and swimming in the Rogue River and nearby Union Creek, as well as Lost Creek to the south. The Rogue River and Rogue Gorge trail systems connect to both Crater Lake National Park to the north and Lost Creek Lake to the south, and run through Natural Bridge and Rogue Gorge. Crater Lake National Park is just minutes away. Natural Bridge and Rogue Gorge are within easy walking distance and are must see attractions.
